After the hard work of getting to High Pike, I have to say that Dove Crag is then simple. You set off from High Pike and see a long straight path heading on a slight gradient.
Theo is the chap nearest the camera.
This part of the walk took about 15 minutes I would say and so as we stopped for lunch at the top of Dove Crag we had been going for around two and a half hours. Loads of suncream and loads of water all the way (buy a Camelbak or something similar - brilliant).
So filled with the finest fayre we could buy at Tesco on the way to the Lakes we were off once more to the next target. Number 4 on the horseshoe - Hart Crag.
