Having completed the ascent of Grey Knotts (picture below looking back to where you've just been, Brandreth is a simple gentle walk over soft grass to the summit.
There is a fence all the way so it's easy to follow. Through the gate and head to the summit.
Theo once again in the lead as we approach summit number 2 on the day.
This takes Theo to 75 Wainright summits - so what you may think but it means he's now hit the top of one third of the fells!
I had reached 79. But is this the top or not? There's another cairn over there that looks higher.
We did a selfie at the second (?) top just in case!
