Having made it to the top of Arthurs Pike we made our way towards Bonscale Pike. All the grunt work of the morning was out of the way and this did feel a bit like a nice stroll!
You can just see the path on this picture. You walk in a horseshoe way until this structure...
then you cross the small water course and the top is in view.
The soft grass was lovely underfoot and made this a really pleasant half hour walk.
From here we headed back to Arthurs Pike and followed the same path down. I should point out the weather. It was a scorching week and we had some amazing thunder storms through one night in particular. We took loads of water with us to replace the huge amount that was coming off us during the walk.
